Big Boards Features & Codes

We continually get requests from members who would like to use codes or features we have implemented on BB. We're happy to share those techniques with you, and so we have put them all together in a new subforum. Each code/feature has it's own topic complete with installation instructions and a preview screen shot. Members who need further help installing these features can request support in the feature topic.

Many of the codes are available in the archive code listings. A link to that topic will be included when available, as sometimes in the discussions that follow, there are good ideas for personalizations or bug fixes that might also be helpful to you.

Battle of the Boards Competition

BB is on the continual quest to find ways to help you make your board a successful one, and so we are sponsoring BB's first Battle of the Boards: See how your board measures up against others as members vote for the boards with the best designs, content and features in a series of match rounds. Don't think you can win? Enter anyway! You'll get invaluable input, and good exposure as users check out and comment on your board. And besides...you might win a cool prize.

All boards with a minimum of 50 members and 500 posts are eligible. The contest will be executed in a series of elimination rounds which will begin when we have at least 50 boards signed up. Check this topic for sign-up guidelines and prize listings.

Nice job guys, may I ask when the next Battle of the Boards is?

At the moment we have no future plans for the next BOTB or any other major competition for a matter of fact.

I see, I can understand this at the current time. But if activity gets better will you think on hosting another one?

Activity is not all that much of a dependent factor when it comes to new competitions, however, we certainly know for a fact we'll be hosting another BOTB competition when the right time comes around.

Sounds great! I can't possibly see myself entering this, but I would love to see the competition in action.
