Issue: I'd like to move some members to another member group. Is there an easy way to do that?

There are 3 ways to change a user's member group. There is an automatic promote feature which allows members to move through groups by attaining posting numbers. Members can also be moved individually, or in a limited way, mass-moved through the Delete Users feature in the ACP.

  ACP > Users & Groups > Manage User Groups > Edit group > Group Promotion
  
• You can also move members manually here:
  ACP > Users & Groups > Find/Edit/Suspend User > Find User > Edit details > Member group
  
• If you want to mass move a whole group, you can only do that if you delete their current group in the process.
  ACP > Users & Groups > Manage User Groups > Edit group > Delete group
  You will get a screen that asks you what group to send all the members when the current group is deleted.
  Note: You can only do this if the member group they are currently in is not a default group. The admin, member, validating, and guest groups cannot be deleted.
