One:Create New Permission Mark- Go to: Admin Control Panel > Forum Control > Permission Masks:
- Under Create a new permission mask, name it something similar to "Advanced Members", or whatever you desire, as long as it is different from your normal Members mask.
- Under Inherit forum permission mask from... select your current Members mask.
- Click Create
Two:Create New User Group
- Go to: Admin Control Panel > Users and Groups > Manage User Groups
- Under Base new group on..., select your current Member's group.
- Make sure you name your Group Title as something that is different from your original members group.
- Under Use Forum Permission Access... Select your new permission mask that you just created.
- Click on Add Group.
Three:Edit Original Member's Group
- Go to: Admin Control Panel > Users and Groups > Manage User Groups > Edit Group
- Under Group Promotion from the dropdown menu Promote members of this group to: Select your new Members group.
- Under when they reach ___ posts, select the amount of posts you want the members to need before they can access the particular forum.
- Click Complete Edit
Four:Creating forum
- Go to: Admin Control Panel > Forum Control > New Forum
- Fill out the required fields as normal. When you reach Permission Access Levels, leave the permission boxes for all fields, (Read, Start, Reply, Upload) unticked for your Original Member's Group
- If you have already created the forum you want to be only visible by the Member's with X amount of posts, do the following:
Admin Control panel > Forum Control > Manage User groups > Permissions, then leave the permission boxes for all fields, (Read, Start, Reply, Upload) unticked for your Original Member's Group
