Categories are a set of forums that are based on one particular thing. It may be for General Talk, RP Sections, or a Support Section. But what ever it may be, the categories depict what the forums will be about or based on.

How Do I Create A Category? To create a category, it is pretty simple. Go to your ACP (Admin Control Panel), and under Forum Control, click on New Category. It will then bring up a page that allow you to create the name and the state it will be in. Enter the name of your category, then choose the state of it. There are three states; Visible, Disable, and Hidden. You will most likely want to choose Visible if you want members and mods of your forum to be able to view it.

How Do I Delete A Category? To delete a category, it is even simpler than creating one. Just access your ACP again. You will then click on, under Forum Control, the Manage Forums link. The page will then bring up all the categories and forums you have created for your site so far. When you see the category you want to delete, you will see two options to the right of it. "Edit" and "Delete". As it is obvious, you will want to click on "Delete" to delete it. A new page will then come up and it will ask you where you will want to move all existing forums. Decide then, then click "Move forums and delete this category".
