Here's my idea.

As we all know, having good graphics on your board is equally important as having good scripts.

That's why I'm suggesting that we get a whole new category with forums for requests, tutorials and showcases.


If there is one and I've just not seen it, feel free to lock this. ^_^

At the moment, members can post their graphics in the Members-Only Style Resources forum.

We also are running a series of Graphics Challenges. The current one has just moved into the voting round and can be viewed here: http://bigboardsresources.com/index.php?showtopic=2605

However, you are right that there is not a category for graphics. It seems like we do not have many graphic artists that frequent BB, as the entries in the graphics challenges to date have been...shall we say.... light. :)

It is definitely something we can discuss.

For the time being, graphic tutorials can be submitted in the Admin Reference Library, which will be moved to the Skinning documentation forum.

Requests will be available soon and we'll probably include a showcase forum in our next major revamp. :)

I don't think you guys should have a graphics section because its a lot of hard work and the requests gets harder to fill up if there are too many.

Well, usually having a forum like this means any other forum member can help out with the requests if they want to. If we wanted to keep it manageable we could restrict posting in the forum to members who had 50 posts or more.

Ya, well, not a lot of members can do professional graphics.. even I can't do it.
The 50 posts is a bad idea because no one wants graphics requests that rules should be over the limit, 20 is okay and 25 is okay if you want to keep it under control.
