Hello. I've had this dark skin for my movie forum, but members didn't like it because it was too dark. I closed the forum due to inactivity, but now I want to revieve it. What skins would be good for a movie forum? Do I need to find a slightly lighter skin, or a light skin, but I just don't think that a dark skins fits that well on a movie forum. What do you think?

My personal opinion is that the skin is not too dark (it would seem to be appropriate to give the impression one was in a darkened theater with your theme). However, the text is too dark. It makes reading the forum difficult and tiring when there is not enough contrast between backbround color and text color.

Why not consider offering a light skin option to your members via a skin selector code? That might be a good compromise solution.

IF doesn't have a skin selector. Though, ZB does. I tried making the text more light, but it backfired on me. Didn't look good.

I think I recall a code being made for this, I'll have a look for you.

This is an elegant skin chooser code. It places the option where IF had it originally, in the user control panel. Uses the "skin and languages" link to access the skin options.
