Title: What would you like to see?

Cory - July 4, 2008 02:48 AM (GMT)
Big Boards will be going through some changes, and making some new additions in the following months.

Our big question to our members is, what would you like to see on BB?

Jayden.Earley - July 5, 2008 10:57 PM (GMT)
To be honest this board is probaly the most perfect oard there is, there isn't really anything that i can think of that this board needs.

But hopefully some of the changes will improve the boards activity and style.

Will you be doing stuff like Changing the skin and that or just some small general changes?

Cory - July 5, 2008 11:20 PM (GMT)
Just some general changes and additions to the board. :)

If anything in the design is changed, it'll likely only be a few images.

I have to agree with Jayden, there is obviously nothing I can think of that could improve this place. I'll think about it a bit more though and see if I can't come up with anything.

:dripple: A Podcast! :dripple:

I don't mean to seed anything, but what are your opinions on the dropdown navigation links?

[RR] Ardy - July 6, 2008 04:06 AM (GMT)
Better team icons and big buttons. They're not up to par with the rest of the skin IMO. :)

Elindor - July 6, 2008 05:14 AM (GMT)
Other than a change of skin and graphics, you guys just need to work on what you already have :D

Jayden.Earley - July 6, 2008 10:00 AM (GMT)
Maybe some forum where you compare two boards of the same Genre and see which is better?

mmmmmm.....what in particular do you think we need to work on?

I think the buttons and skin are just fine. Everything blends well together IMO.

I'm just excited to see what more you guys will add to the board.

I personally don't think the skin needs to be changed or get any changes done to it.This skin is honestly one of the best light skins I've ever seen on IF.Everything blends great togeather and it's very easy on the eyes.

I really don't see why people want to see a change in it o_0

Agreed 100%. I'm not even a fan of light skins, but this one and the one on my forum are the only ones that I can put up with.

The SKin and Buttons are hella fine. :)

We're still open to any ideas you might have for our board overhaul that will be taking place soon.

We're already planning to add a new category and some forums.

As nice as a podcast might be, it's irrelevant to BB. :/

We might be improving some of the graphics of the board. However, for the most part, this skin will likely remain BB's default skin for some time.

Would it be possible to add some coding tutorials for those who are interested in learning how to code? Perhaps providing code snippets and explaining how/why the code is written that way...

And/or perhaps providing some good suggested resources (books, sites) where people could go to learn how to write codes for their boards?

That's a pretty good idea. I would mind contributing tutorials on HTML, CSS, or jQuery for ZB users.

As we all know, Mike is an awesome coder. I'm sure he'd be willing to create some coding-related tutorials for BB. There's many other coders on BB who might be willing to do the same. It's definitely something worth considering.

I also cannot think of anything. I just can't wait for the BB Shop.
