You may be wondering why your credits aren't displaying in your mini-profile. We are not discontinuing the credit system, but are having a temporary issue which we hope to resolve soon.

We are experiencing some problems with the credit system code. Our resident :mike: is hard at work getting it fully functional again. You will be able to resume using the credit system with your full compliment of credits when it is restored, so you may go ahead with any plans you have to request or promise credits in the forums.

I've moved all the files to a different server and made some changes, and they appear to be working fine now; so I've sent the update to Cory who should implement it sometime soon. Thanks for your patience :)

But is it the credit system thats slowing down the loading time of each topic? Because the index and forums are fine but whenever i click on a thread it takes a bit longer to load.

Any showtopic page may load sluggishly due to the amount of posts the credit code has to respond to. I'm looking into ways to improve the loading time of the showtopic page, seeing as it's currently the slowest loading page on BB.

Though the overall loading time may be a while, the essential loading time is much shorter. The credit script loads at the end when the page itself is already done, meaning you can still browse the topic while credits are being generated. But, since that still bugs some people, perhaps I could add something like an option to disable credits on topics.

There's something unusual going on tonite....the board is much slower than usual and I'm getting errors when I try to use the quick edit.... So hang in there.

In my opinion the whole part of the Selling Goods and that is a great idea, thank god the credits came back.
