what kind of forum you you like the best and which kind would you join instantly?
What if there's a forum about world issues and it's like a general discussion board to help out the unfortunate people....would you join?

I really like general chat boards and fan based boards. What i would join instantly? It all really depends if i'm into the purpose of the board. Having said that, i don't join any general chat boards; they've got to look good, nice layout, good potential etc. :)

Usually resource boards like BB and IFSZ. Sometimes general discussion boards.

I like general boards because I have various interests, and I think that it is good for a board to reflect that.

A forum that meets the following criteria:
a) Has an appealing look. Really, I need to like the look before I am willing to join a forum.
b) Is active. I won't usually join an inactive forum.
c) Has an interesting topic, to me. For example, drumming forums would be nice to visit and be a regular on. Possibly even general chat.

I like general chat boards, but I also love joining forums about tv shows and movies... there is always something to chat about! :D
