Title: Spoiler technique - Hide selected text from view
Description: ...without installing a code in wrappers

Issue: I want to be able to hide some text in my posts so that viewers have the choice of whether to read it or not.

Method:

Hit the QUOTE button. It will put this on your screen:
CODE
[QUOTE]

Then hit the COLOR dropdown and choose any color. You will have this:
CODE
[QUOTE][COLOR=blue]

Change the word "blue" to FFFFFF It will now look like this:
CODE
[QUOTE][COLOR=FFFFFF]

(PS...this is not case sensitive, you could also use ffffff)

[NOTE: If the background of your quote box is not white because of a custom skin application, use the appropriate hex color designation instead of FFFFFF.)

Type in the text you want hidden

NOW.....hit the Close all Tags link next to the COLOR box. You will now have something that looks like this:
CODE
[QUOTE][COLOR=FFFFFF]This is the text I don't want anybody to see until they highlight it.[/COLOR][/QUOTE]

And here is the example for you to test. Hold down your left click button and run your cursor over the blank quote area and see if you can read the hidden message! (You can either HIGHLIGHT the quote box, or TRIPLE CLICK on it.)

QUOTE
This is the text I don't want anybody to see until they highlight it.
