What is Big Boards?
Big Boards is a source for resources and services across many forum softwares - though our focus lies mainly with Invisionfree and ZetaBoards. We offer extensive databases that include codes, skins, and themes - all for your convenience as well as several services where we will strive to assist you, and your board, in any capacity we can. When was Big Boards created?
Big Boards was created June 1^st of 2006. (Read our History!)

Who is in charge around here?
We have a two-person admin team on Big Boards. Cory is our Technical Administrator and Board Creator - handling all the behind the scenes happenings of the board. HelenaZF is our other Administrator - she fancies herself to graphics/design, filling requests, and the community aspects of the board. We also have a five-person moderating team - but as five people are too many to try to explain how they all fit together we'll leave further reading to you on our Staff Page.

Who is BB's greatest staff member?
This is one of the questions that has plagued Big Boards and its members for millennial. Unable to decide ourselves, we've left it up to you.

There is a custom profile field set out especially for you to choose (vote for) your favourite BB Staff member.

Sweet! I'd like to be staff here, too! How can I be staff?
First and foremost, please do not ask. Ever. Members are hand-picked to be staff based on their reputation as a whole on Big Boards, their loyalty and what they've added to the community. That's why our staff team is so great. So how can you be staff? Become a part of Big Boards and show us what you're made of!

There are these custom smilies all over the place - what are they about?
Big Boards has several unique, custom smilies for individuals. Some of these smilies are for site staff, others are for people who have contributed greatly to the board, and still other have been purchased in Big Boards' Official Shop.
Here is an outline of some of those smilies, and the stories behind them:

	Cory is our "King of Links", a title earned because he meticulously documents everything in his support responses with links to anything that he thinks might be of help to the requester. It's also a bit of a historical reference to all the work he has done on the massive archive indexes. At one time, Cory's member title was "chained to the archives".
	HelenaZF is a self-admitted "techno-feeb" and jokes about stuff falling out of the holes in her "swiss cheese brain". For Quantum Leap aficionados, you will remember this term as the memory loss side-effect of Sam's time-travel. FYI: you will be severely punished if you use this smilie in any but the most endearing way. What is the punishment? Something so terrible you can't even imagine it.
	Clay is our choco-nerd computer geek. He can help you with an amazing array of broad-based computer knowledge and can be easily bribed with chocolate (of which he is required to pay a hefty tax to HelenaZF).
	Mike (Also known as Mwr247 - that even sounds brainy, doesn't it?) is our wise and resourceful resident coding guru, hence the smilie, "Coda". With Mike, there is no try, there is only "do".
	Morgan is a music lover, and is the admin of his own music-based message board community. He will be helping you with your ZB boards and codes. We think he rawks!
	Nicolas has experience in managing and building strong, loyal communities. He can also help you with inventive ways to use the still virtually unexplored new options available in the ZB system. But mostly, he is just here to hang out.
	Justin is a creative artist, equally at home making and skinning boards, and our board's newest moderator. He is always into some new project or interest area. Since he is an Aussie, Justin often has the nightwatch here on BB.

I want to change my username. Can I do that?
Yes and no. You're allowed a name change once every six months by requesting it through this page. Any more frequently than that and you will have to buy a name change with your credits from the Official Big Boards Shop. All name change requests with rude or vulgar language in them are denied. Big Boards reserves the right to deny any name change request without an explanation.

How can I become a member of the 'BB Lovers' group? I definitely love BB, too!
BB Lovers is a joinable group, simply click here and select to join the group. Once you have joined BB Lovers you will be eligable for special elite member rankings as you become more a part of Big Boards community.

How can I help Big Boards out?
Apart from being an active member of the community Big Boards needs financial support. Though we're on a free host, Big Boards does need funds for future development and expansion. To learn more about supporting Big Boards please see this page.

I have resources I would like to submit to your databases! How can I go about doing this?
We have quick and easy resource submission forms based on the type of resource you want added to the databases. Please click here in order to select the type of resource you wish to submit and get them added to the directory as soon as possible!

Can I affiliate my board with Big Boards?
The simple answer is no. Currently our Sites page is a list of forums which we know can aid board owners in helping their forum grow - but in different ways than BB does. So we've hand picked those forums for our members to use. The "Sites We Like" is a special area for staff forums - so if you ever become staff you'll be able to have your board listed there, too.

Can I use BB's theme and/or graphics?
No. All themes are copyrighted to Big Boards and their respective creators. The same is said for all images used by Big Boards in the themes.

How has BB modified ZetaBoards?
Big Boards has several codes (custom and otherwise) installed at the moment to have your user experience be the best possible. These codes are all listed in this post.

Can I use BB's codes?
It depends on the code. Many of the codes we use were generously created for us and are exclusive for Big Boards - which means we can't give them to you. Some of the other codes are too complex to try to install on your own forum, as well. If there's a specific code you had in mind that we use on Big Boards simply start a new topic in the ZetaBoards Support Forum and we'll see what we can do for you.

Somebody has broken board rules (in a post or via PM) - what do I do?
Just send us a note of the violation by clicking the report button by their post or personal message ( Posted Image

) and we'll handle the situation.

What is considered a spam post on BB?
A spam post can be considered a post that is a few words long, a post that is irrelevant to the topic in which it is posted in, or a post that is overly repeated.
