 Forum Layout: Excellent

  • I really like the way the forums have been set out, although it has taken a little getting used to, I've liked the changes that were made.
Theme: Good

  • I've always loved the theme, and most of Louis' work, but I think we need something new and different done to the theme (hints topic in the BB Lovers Room), and also a few flaws could be edited, which I may get around to pointing out/fixing in future.
Staff: Excellent

  • My experience with the staff before and during the time I've been staff has been amazing, they've always been kind and helpful, and all of them are great to chat with. They've also all got their different personalities which really stands out in the staff team.
Custom Features: Excellent

  • Although some things do need changing and updating, the custom features Big Boards has at the moment is awesome.
Resource Database: Good

  • I've liked the resource database, and the search as you type is awesome, but it's always loaded really slow for me, and some of the databases need updating to match the new Big Boards databases. :P
Support: Excellent

  • The support has always been something that has stood out for me, great work.
Community: Good

  • I've always loved the community around Big Boards, but I think it still needs to be able to get more involved in things, but I guess that's our job to provide things to make it happen.
Big Boards As A Whole: Good

  • There's still a few factors which stop me giving Big Boards an excellent, but I can tell you that it's not very far off it.

 Hrmmm:

Forum Layout - So-So.
I hardly use any of the areas, but they seem okay.

Theme - Good.
Fixed widths are restrictive. The h2 code takes a few seconds to produce the images, which causes annoyance.

Staff - Good.
From a community perspective, the staff team are relaxed and fun. Haven't dealt with them on a more professional or personal basis, so I can't truly answer/vote.

Custom Features - So-So.
I'm not one for code use mostly. I was experiencing slower load times the previous times I passed through. I'm also more active towards the bottom right of my browser, so the little BB Sub Menu is annoying.

Resource Database - n/a.
- Haven't used it.

Support - n/a.
- Haven't used it.

Community - Excellent.
Nice friendly atmosphere. A place I can come back to. :)

Big Boards As a Whole - Good.
Over-all, a decent offering.

The main problem is the board has fairly inactive staff and there aren't too many posts per day compared to what there should be.
