Firefox Your Issue/Question: I had plans for points system, like how you have it here on BigBoards. For each post 10 points for each topic started 20 and you can donate to other members etc. I also wanted a shop where people can purchase stuff like Increase is max size of avatar, change name etc. And also if the points could be transferred/donated to others. Can you guide me to a code? I have my test board where i want everything ready before my board converts so i'm looking forward to test this points system to. Thanks in advance

I don't exactly need the code you use, any good working code will do Coz when i searched for it all i ended up getting was not what i wanted or the code wasn't working.

You can review the code here: http://if.invisionfree.com/topic/5049937/1/ It involves a sign up and an installation process. I believe you can opt out of any features you don't want to use. You might also try PM'ing Viral on the support board and inquiring about a points code. He had posted a code for that once and removed it, replacing it with a message to PM him if you were interested in the code. I believe the code was removed because it uses extra ad removal credits. If that is not an issue for your board, you might want to pursue that with him.

For example; I have a code that gathers the data for the top poster of today and places it in the board stats. I've loaded the board index (1 page is loaded) and to grab that info, I'm loading the top posters page (2 pages are now loaded) in the background. I'm on the board index, but I've loaded two pages causing twice the ad credits to be consumed with one visit. So if you don't have ad removal, codes that consume add credits won't affect you at all. I hope that made sense

The creator will usually state that the code consumes add credits, but if they don't, take a step back and think about what the code does. Is it accessing information from another page on the board? That's a good rule of thumb to keep in mind when wondering if codes will use add credits.
