I need tips

 My board recently got cracked, they deleted all the post, I need some tips on getting the board back up and keeping my member there, already half of my members have left. so do you guys have nay tips?

 Sorry to hear that acboy. :(

The best thing you can do is to rally your community to help you restore the board. Remind them about the good times they have had there and ask for help to not let that be taken away by the cracker. Those that care about the board will step up and start posting and encouraging others to do the same.

If your members feel like part of the restoration team, it can really help the board come back and will actually make your community stronger.

 Ensure you change your password and the password of anyone that has Admin Control Panel access.

You need to make a hard password that isn't easily guessed by anyone.

Try using this password generator to assist you in coming up with an original one.

 We have all changed our pass, and the one who delted the post keeps spamming, Today 6 staff members and 9 normal members left.

 I think I'm just going to give up, the constant spammers and crackers (crackers lol) is just to much, I', just going to go get a staff postion on my frineds forum, so you guys can close this topic

 It's unfortunate that the spammer won. :( However, if this happens in the future, I would definitely ban the account immediately, and post an announcement to your members regarding the situation. See if you can get some of your staff (maybe even members you think who would be helpful) to trash all the spam posts. If it's cracked and you can get back your old account, start a fresh forum and send out a mass e-mail to all your users saying that you're starting a new forum with a link. Make sure security is as tight as possible on the new board. New e-mail, password, and any other security measures you can think of.

This also goes for the e-mail attached to your account. People forget that your e-mail if cracked is an open door into any account that has that e-mail attached to it. That also needs a secure pass and a good secret question for password recovery.
