This is not the announcement I wanted to be posting today. However, we have carefully considered this decision and feel it is the right one to make for a successful launch of Planet Nexus. Although things are in place in time for our announced opening deadline, we feel that we need more time to make some adjustments to some key features before we are ready to open our doors. Therefore we will be pushing back the opening date to give the development team more time to rework areas that would not be practical to do after the launch. We do not anticipate that this delay will be long. As soon as things are deemed solid, we will open. We know this is disappointing, and we truly apologize for the let down. However, we feel it is more important to deliver on the integrity of the Planet Nexus vision, than to honor our self-imposed deadline. We can only ask for your patience and understanding.

I apologize for this, but thank you for your patience Also, the clock is simply frozen at an hour, but it will be a bit longer than that. Time on Planet Nexus varies compared to this world

I will be posting some progress reports on the Planet Nexus Twitter page: http://twitter.com/Planet_Nexus so you can check for updates there. Your first update however is, things are proceeding smoothly. There is nothing inherently wrong with the system, the delay is to check and refine compatibilities and functions within the system itself. When we open, we want all bug reports to be minor.

Hmm, a lot of things I was expecting to be released at the end of last year were also delayed. EDIT: Not that it's a bad thing or anything. Quality should always come first.
