is it possible to transfer my godaddy domain to another invisionfree server? i have only one godaddy domain. Right now I have problem with my co admin, we had a fight. We are using z7 server and he is the root admin but i created the entire forum and i also own the customize godaddy domain. I don't want to deal with him anymore that's why I created another forum and still invisionfree but z10 server. What I want is to use my godaddy domain to my z10 forum... is it possible? how can i edit my Total DNS Control? please advice. please help

yes, it's possible. You would need to remove the domain name as the primary domain for the current forum (switch it back to the boards invisionfree URL) Then follow the doc to set up the domain on your new board. It sometimes takes awhile for the domain to propogate, so don't expect it to be instant. |

I already change my Alias Name to Z10 and Host Name. I swap it because it wont work if i'll put the z10 as a Host Name and I get this DNS violation errors. Then when i tried to add a domain name to my z10 board this message appears: The domain you have entered does not appear to point to this server at this time. The domain should point to z10.invisionfree.com with a CNAME record. what should i do? please help! |

Delete the "www" and "z10.invisionfree.com" records. Setup the following CNAME records: Host: www Points to: z10.invisionfree.com Host: spencer.net Points to: z10.invisionfree.com |
